Matra 630-V12

This Matra 630-V12 model was done by dinky-toys with number 1425E; it has been deburred of the casting imperfections, new wheels installed and repainted.
This car was built in 1969 with s/n: 630-04; to note hat this is the only one of the 4 built that has an air inlet front. It was raced in the 1969 Le Mans edition enlisted in Gr.:SP by team Matra Elt with #32 and having Guichet and Vaccarella as drivers finishing 5th overall 3rd in Class 4th at the Performance Index 13 laps behind the winner after 4834 km at an average speed of 201km/h .
Technical spec: V12 engine 2993cc 450hp Lucas FI 200+km/h 5sp 820kg made of stratified polyester.

Matra 640

This Matra 640 model was made by Bizarre with number 135
This car is the only one built in 1969 carrying the s/n: 640-01. it ran in the 1969 Le Mans test trials with #32 and driven by H. Pescarolo. In the trials and at the first kilometers in the Hunaudières the car took off, and was pulverized. Miraculously Pescarolo was ejected and pulled out alive by a spectator that put out the fire on his face and clothes

Matra 650/630

This model Matra 650/630 was built by solido with number 178

This car was one of the four built in 1969 from Matra 630's. It carried s/n 630-03 and was raced in the 1970 Buenos-Aires 1000km with #10 driven by J.P. Beltoise and H. Pescarolo finishing 1st after 164 laps.
Technical spec: V12 engine 2999cc 470hp at 11000rpm Lucas FI 5 speed gearbox 326km/h 775kg.

Matra 650 Longue

This Matra 650 Longue model was made by automany as a transkit number 510 using the solido 178 model as the baseline
This car was one of the three manufactured in 1969 it had s/n: 650-01 and it raced in Le Mans‘69 in Gr.:SP with #33 enlisted by team Matra Elf with Piers Courage and J.P. Beltoise as drivers finishing 4th overal, 2nd in Class and 3rd in the Performance index, after 368 laps and 4945km at an average speed of 206kph.
Technical spec: V12 engine 2999cc 470hp at 11000rpm Lucas FI 5 speed gearbox 740kg.

Matra MS-120

This Matra MS-120 model was manufactured by Altaya-Ixo as part of the "Les belles annes Simca" collection with number 39.
This car was built for the 1970 season. It raced in the 1970 Belgium GP at SPA Francorchamp with #25 driven by J.P. Beltoise finishing 3rd in the same lap as the winner and 1m 43.7s after the winner.
Technical spec: V12 engine 2999cc 450hp at 11000rpm Lucas FI 5speed gearbox 545kg.

Matra 650 Courte

This model is a Matra 650 Courte made by Solido with 178 representing a Matra 650/630 that was modified by me to represent a Matra 650 courte (see "1/43 collection of transformed and restaured models for more details).

This car was built in 1970 with s/n: 650-02 and it raced in Sebring 12h in 1970 with #35 enlisted by team Matra-Simca with F. Cevert and Dan Gurney finishing 12th overal, 8th in class with atotal of 213 laps raced.
Technical spec: V12 engine 2999cc 470hp at 11000rpm Lucas FI 5 speed gearbox.

Matra 650 Longue (Central intake)

This model is a Matra 650 Longue made by Solido with 178 representing a Matra 650/630 that was modified by me to represent a 1970 Matra 650 Longue with central engine intakes instead of the previously used side intakes (see Matra 650 Longue (central intake) from a 650 for more details).
This car was built in 1970 with s/n: 650-02 and it raced in Le Mans 24h in 1970 with #32 enlisted by in Gr.:P3.0 by team Matra-Elf with Jack Brabham and François Cevert they did not finish due to excessive oil consumption, they did 76 laps versus 343 laps by the winner, they were 14th in the grid.

Matra 650 Courte (Central intake)

This model is a Matra 650 Courte made by Ixo for Altaya (Collection “Champions francais de rallye”, model No. 43) that was modified by me to represent a Matra 650 courte with a central intake. Modifications were, adding front wing, modifying cockpit cover from 2 seats to only driver seat, change protection arch from dual seat to sigle seat, remove the ram air intake, add rear wing and modify the tube structure.
This car, (s/n: 650-01) was modified in 1970 with a short tail and it raced at Brands Hatch 1000km 1970 in Gr.:P3.0 Team: Matra #51 with Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Jack Brabham finishing 12th OA.

Matra 650 Courte TDF

This model is a Matra 650 Courte made by Ixo for Altaya (Collection “Champions francais de rallye”, model No. 43)

Matra 660 LM70

This model is a Matra 660 kit as it was raced at the 1970 Le Mans made by DAM with Ref.: 60 and built by me.

Engine V12cyl dohc 2993cc 420hp at 10000r 320km/h 720kg 3 built (660’s) body made of polyester stratified and first Matra with a monocoque chassis with a structural engine, 740kg 3 built.

Matra 660 Longue

This model was made as a Matra 670 Longue by solido with number 14 and modified by me to represent a Matra 660 Longue. Modifications were, reshaping the front inlet, put 2 deflectors at the exit of the front coolers, modify the cockpit cover, remove the ram air inlet, remove the 2 rear fins, change the rear wing and add air inlets in the rear for the rear brakes.
The Matra 660 was one of three built between 1970 and 1971. This specific s/n: 660-01 raced in 1971 Le Mans in Gr.:P3.0 enlisted by team: Matra with #32 with Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Chris Amon the car did not not finish, retired at the 18th hr due to fuel injection failure.

Matra 660 Courte

This model was made as a Matra 670 Longue by solido with number 14 and modified by me to represent a Matra 660 Courte. For more information see: Matra 660 Courte made from a Matra 670B Longue
The Matra 660 was one of three built between 1970 and 1971
This specific s/n: 660-02 raced in 1971 Auvergne 300 km in Gr.:P3.0 enlisted by team: Matra with #1 with Gerard Larrouse the car \finished in 4th place overall.

Matra MS-120B

This Matra MS-120B model was manufactured by Spark with Ref.: S1604.
This car (s/n: 120/5) was built for the 1971 season.
It raced in the 1971 French GP #21 J.P. Beltoise finishing 7th OA

Matra 670 Courte

This is a model made by solido with number 13
This car was one of the 3 670's built in 1972 with s/n: 670-01. It raced in Le Mans in 1972 in Gr.:S with #15 and G. Hill and H. Pescarolo as pilots, they won the race doing 4691km at 195km/h they also won the class 2501/3000.
Thechnical spec: V12cyl engine dohc 2993cc 418hp at 10000rpm 320km/h 720kg.

Matra 670 Longue

This is a model made by solido with number 14
This car was made in 1972 with s/n: 670-02 and it raced with #14 in Le Mans’72 under Gr.:S with F. Cevert and Ganley finishing 2nd overall with a distance of 4554kms at 189km/h also finishing 2nd in class (2501/3000). In LM’72 there were 1 M660 and 3 M670's.

Matra MS-120D

This Matra MS-120D model was manufactured Tenariv as a kit with Ref.: 111 and assembled by me.
This car was built for the 1972 season.

Matra 670B Courte

This model is a solido number 13 Matra 670, modified by me in the front and in the rear to represent a matra 670B courte. Modifications were, modifying the shape of the front top of the cowling and make the rear wing as wide as the car itself.
This car was built in 1973 as s/n: 670-01 and it raced as #11 in 1973 in the Autria 1000km at Zeltweg in Gr.:S with Pescarolo and Larrousse winning the race.
Technical spec: V12cyl engine dohc 2999cc 485hp at 11500rpm 320km/h 690kg.

Matra 670B Longue

This model was built by Minichamps with number 430 731110
This car was 1 of 6 built in 1973 with s/n: 670-B03. It raced in Le Mans in 1973 in Gr.:S with #10 with F. Cevert and J.P. Beltoise as drivers, the car did not finish, it retired after 3hr 39m in lap 157 due to a puncture followed by an accident. However F. Cevert managed to clock te fastest lap at 224km/h.

Matra 670C Longue

This Matra 670C Longue model was built by ixo with number LMC013

This car was built in 1974 as s/n: 670-B06. It raced in Le Mans in 1974 in the Gr.:S 3.0 with #7 enlisted y team Gitanes with Henri Pescarolo and Gérard Larrousse as drivers and it won the race with 338 laps and 4606km total distance at 191kph also was 1st in Class 2500 ot 3000
